Carrick Swan GAA

Carrick Swan under 14 hurlers have qualified for final of Carrigeen astroturf tournament after a clear cut win over Glenmore last week. This team has performed really well in tournament to date and they will play St.Marys (Clonmel) in final on a date to be confirmed.

Well done to both Alan Rockett and Stephen Hahessy who both played in the Tipperary senior footballers national league win over Offaly on Sunday last.

We had a great turnout of boys and girls for the St.Patrick’s Day parade last week and we sincerely thank all those who helped with supervision. We also compliment the organising committee who have worked hard to revive the parade which was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Last week’s lotto numbers were 4, 13, 15 and 19. We had no jackpot winner and five match 3 winners each win €40 – Shane Hogan, St.Johns, Mary O’Donnell, 5 Lisadell, Sarah Walsh, 53 Collins Park, Toby Foley, 47 Dunbane and C.Doherty, c/o 16 Marian Avenue. This week’s jackpot is €3,750 and we sincerely thank all those who continue to support the juvenile lotto.

The Aintree Grand National takes place next month and cards for our annual sweep are on display in business premises throughout the town. We thank all those who have supported to date and we encourage members to promote where possible.

The next juvenile disco will take place for Friday 01stApril and all the children can look forward to an enjoyable night under strict supervision.
