Carrick Swan fell to a seven point defeat in their opening Challenge Cup game in Davin Park today.

Half time score: Drom/Inch 0-07 Carrick Swan 0-06
Full time score: Drom/Inch 2-13 Carrick Swan 0-12

The conditions were terrible and played a huge part in both Drom goals. Swan were also unlucky not to score a few goals with Kevin Lanigan and Bill Walsh going extremely close and only for a great block on Kevin and a point blank Damien Young save Swan would have raised at least 1 green flag.

Dwaine Fogarty: 0-02 (2 Frees)
Kevin Lanigan: 0-01
