On Saturday next in Kilsheelan at 2.30pm the first local derby of the year takes place when Carrick Swan play the amalgamated Grangemockler/Ballyneale/Carrick Daivns combination in the u21 "B" football championship.

Swan had an impressive opening day display against an under strength Fr. Sheehy's/ Ballylooby while Grangemockler/Davins came through a tough test against the men from Ballingary on the same weekend. This weekend Grangemockler/Davins had their second game of the Championship against Fr. Sheehy's/Ballylooby who they beat comfortably. The Swan game due to be played this weekend was cancelled as there was no pitch available.

Results to date:
South Tipp U21B Football Championship Group 1:Grangemockler/Davins 6-2 Ballylooby/Fr Sheehy's 0-7
South Tipp U21B Football Championship Group 1: Ballingarry 1-07 Grangemockler Davins 2-07
South Tipp U21B Football Championship Group 1: Carrick Swan 7-15 Fr Sheehy's/Ballylooby 0-05

Best of luck to our u21 footballers in what will be an extremely tough game on a very soft pitch.
