Juvenile NEWS:

Carrick Swan under 16 hurlers played Ballingarry in championship last week and had a comfortable win. Our scheduled game against St.Pats did not take place and we have now qualified for semi-final.

Our under 14 hurlers played Ballyneale / Grangemockler in their south (B) semi-final on Saturday morning in Kilsheelan where after a most exciting game we came out on top by a one point margin 2-05 to 2-04. We wish this team and their mentors the best of luck in final.

Our under 12 hurlers were also in action at the same venue lining out against Cahir in division 4 semi-final and enjoyed a comfortable win.

Our under 10 hurlers will participate in Mullinahone tournament on Saturday next. Players will receive timetable of events during the week.

Carrick Swan’s under-8 panel travelled to Dublin over the weekend to play friendly games against O’Dwyers (Balbriggan) and they also visited Croke Park. All the players had an enjoyable time and we thank the host club for their hospitality and also those who travelled with this group of players.

Our under 6 & 8 hurlers were in action on The Green last week playing our near neighbours Piltown in some friendly games. All enjoyed the activities with some great skills on show.
