Juvenile NEWS:

The under 6,8 and 10 boys travelled to St.Marys Clonmel for friendly games on Saturday morning last where all the boys played their part in a very entertaining morning. We thank those who travelled with the large number of players and we also thank the St.Marys club for their hospitality. Our under 12 footballers travelled to play Ardfinnan on Friday evening where the home team proved too strong despite a spirited display from our team. The under-14 football championship continued last week when we travelled to play Cahir. This was a most exciting game in which we held a big lead, having played with the aid of a strong wind in the first half, but at the final whistle we only had a single point to spare winning 4-7 to 3-09. This championship will not recommence for two weeks now as a backlog of under-16 fixtures have to be played in advance
