Late Amy Power (Nee Gough)

The club extends its sympathy to the Power and Gough families on the passing of Amy, we have been lucky down the years to have been blessed with great Swan women and Amy certainly fitted into that category. Amy was a daughter of one of the original 'Greenside Rovers' the late Tom Gough who won the Carrick League in 1926 and who played as a half forward on the first Swan team to win a senior hurling title in 1933. Amy was a very loyal Swan woman and was always ready to lend a hand particularly at the Swan Bingo which she enjoyed. She will be a major loss to her family and may she now rest in peace.
