Late Gemma King

posted 16 Oct 2013, 02:27 by Colm O Sullivan
On behalf of Carrick Swan GAA Club we would like to offer our sincere condolences to the King and Murphy families on the passing of Gemma after an illness borne with great dignity. To know Gemma was to know someone who when you heard the title 'Lady' you knew that the term was made for a person such as Gemma as she always had a word and a smile for everyone whose path she crossed. While everyone knew that Gemma was seriously ill it still did not lessen the shock when we learned of her passing and there is now a palpable sorrow over the town of Carrick. To her husband Dinny, daughters Claire and Denise, brothers and sisters and extended family our thoughts and prayers are now with you at this very sad time.

Funeral arrangements as follows: Leaving Walsh's funeral home on Wednesday at 6.30pm for St. Nicholas Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30am for burial in Ballyneale cemetery afterwards.
