The Late Jackie Hogan

posted 14 May 2015, 13:56 by Carrick Swan

The club are sad to announce the passing of Jackie Hogan after an illness borne with great dignity, Jackie was the original epitome of what being a club man is all about and he served the club well down many years. He served as a player, selector, committee member, caretaker, first aid man, referee and held many more positions besides. Jackie went about his duties in a quiet unassuming way and always had the clubs best interests at heart. He will be a major loss to the club but even more of a loss to his family, we in the club extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Nancy and family at this sad time.

The Funeral arrangements are as follows, reposing at his home in Collins Park from 3pm - 8pm on Saturday and following 12 noon mass on Sunday in St. Nicholas Church will be buried in Faugheen Cemetery.
