Carrick Swan GAA Notes – Monday 13th January 2014

The numbers drawn in last week’s juvenile lotto were 4, 9, 14, 25. There was no winner of our €9,500 jackpot prize which means this week’s jackpot is a massive €9,750. Entry costs only €2 and can be paid to any committee member or lotto promoter. Remember, if you’re not in, you can’t win so make sure to get your tickets in before Thursday’s draw. Your continued support helps us provide for all our juvenile players and is very much appreciated by all in our club.

On Saturday last, over 400 people attended our Juvenile & Adult Medal Presentation evening in our Juvenile Hall. Carrick Swan GAA Club would like to thank Johnny Cummins, Ger Power and T.J. Connolly for presenting medals to our victorious teams for 2013.

Our adult teams are now back training in preparation for the 2014 season. Carrick Swan GAA Club would like to wish all teams and mentors the best for the year ahead.

We’d like to remind members that moneys due for our Swansea trip in March need to be paid before the end of the Month. To give people the opportunity to do this, the organizing committee will be in the club on Friday(s) January 17th, 24th and 31st between 7pm and 8pm

Lyons Mini Bus Hire sponsored two sets of jerseys for our Juvenile club, which were presented at our Medal Presentation evening. Carrick Swan GAA Club would like to thank Darren for the jerseys and for his help throughout 2013 with the Swan Match Tracking Service, transporting kids to games and helping out at games.

Commiserations to Carrick C.B.S. who came up just short in their u15 County Final vs Cashel last week. A number of Carrick Swan players were on this panel.
